Friday 12th June

We travelled through the Cotswolds and stopped for an early lunch then found where the smallest castle in England was located. We saw a sign post for walking so did. After quite a walk and the ground getting muddier and not knowing how far it was we turned back to see if we could find it by car. We did and we are glad we turned back it was still quite a way to go. Apparently a family lived in this castle until 1972. Must have been interesting. Good view though.
From there Jane got us to our next Farm Stay in Lighthorne. It was a 15th century farmhouse but we had a new room outside which was great as it had NO stairs.
