Sunday 7th
We decided to go into Exeter on our own to try to get our mobile internet sorted. In the end they had to refund it as they wouldn't accept an international credit card and it was the only way to pay, so we ended up with another one from another company. So far it is ok but can be a bit slow.
We had a walk around the shops, had lunch near the catheral, watched a procession what looked like judges, barristers etc with all the pomp and ceremony and wigs etc. after they left the cathedral. Did some shopping in Marks and Spencer for dinner and for Mackenzie. (of course)
Then proceeded to try to find the car park again and then try to get out of Exeter in the right direction. Not a chance. Got back to Ted and Sheila's a bit later than expected and spent the rest of the time chatting.
We were looked after very well and not allowed to do anything, although I did help to rescue dinner on the first night. Another story. We would have loved to stay longer but unfortunately we had to keep moving.
